Clean Up

Today everyone should relate to this in one way or another. It is Clean Up Your Room Day. Either you need to do it yourself, you need to convince your family to do it OR you mom said it you you when you were a kid. Celebrate by picking up the laundry, taking all the dishes back into the kitchen and pull out that Hefty bag and start stuffing. Maybe you will find that thing you were looking for.

1924-J Edgar Hoover began his ‘acting director’ positon at the FBI. He kept the job (not ‘acting’) for 48 years.
1930-Birth of Pat Summerall, Sports Journalist.
1936-Birth of Gary Owens, Deep-voiced actor most remembered on Laugh-In.
1940-Chamberlain is replaced by Churchill as Prim Minister of Britain.
1946-Birth of Donovan, Singer known for Mellow Yellow.
1957-Birth of Sid Vicious, Singer in band Sex Pistols.
1960-Birth of Paul Hewson, Singer, member of U2 currently going by the name Bono.
1966-Birth of Jason Brooks, Actor
1969-The first color photos of Earth were sent back from Apollo 10.
1977-Death of Lucille Fay Le Sueur (aka Joan Crawford) she was 71 or 74.less than 2 years later, Mommy Dearest, her daughter Christina’s biography was released.
1994-Nelson Mandela became South Africa’s first black president.
1994-Death of John Wayne Gacy, was executed for mass murder at the age of 52.
